LISA GUILE considers herself to be a performer, composer, music educator, and researcher. She took her music degree at City University where she studied composition with Bennett Hogg and performance with Stan Sulzman. Lisa has both performed and composed in many diverse genres of music, including West African drumming, North Indian music, and Javanese gamelan. However, her musical background is in jazz music, and she has both performed and composed for ensembles internationally. She has works on two CDs, including two songs and a piece for jazz orchestra. Her works for the theatre include the music for Brechtís The Good Person of Sezuan, dance/theatre projects at the Laban Centre in London, and experimental music-theatre projects at City University.She is currently studying for a Ph.D. in Music Psychology at the University of Sheffield.
